Get Into Cardio Tennis is back for 2016 and has a new team behind it

Get Into Cardio Tennis is about to re-launch again for another season in 2016 and join the team are two new Tennis Victoria staff members Ashley Misevski and James Robortella.

Despite only 12 months old Get Into Cardio Tennis has had the opportunity to impact people across many community areas in Melbourne and Victoria with the support of VicHealth’s ‘Changing the Game’ campaign. On the back of success in 2015 and early 2016 the Get Into Cardio Tennis team are busy preparing for an even bigger season in September and October 2016.

James Robortella has recently come on board as Program Coordinator and is excited about the potential and growth of the program. “Get Into Cardio Tennis is such a unique program that offers a fantastic opportunity for people to introduce a bit more activity in their lives in a fun, social and safe environment. It is amazing the impact this program has had in people’s lives already and we want more people to have the chance to be involved in our sessions in a park near them.”

Joining James in the Get Into Cardio Tennis team recently is Ashley Misevski, who brings a great level of tennis experience as a Junior Development Coach and former Tennis Victoria work experience graduate. “Getting of the court and into the park is such a great benefit of the program. It is wonderful how people of any skill level can join in a session and get the most out of it. With the sun and warm only around the corner it will be exciting to get more females active around Victoria.”
